My 100th post on this blog: a great time to celebrate a new level of fitness. It’s me . . . in a size-8 top and size-10 jeans! This isn’t the first size-8 top I’ve bought lately–it’s the fifth or sixth one in the last few months–but this is my first size-10 pair of jeans since my 10th grade of high school! And it’s the smallest size I’ve ever been since I started wearing adult sizes in, oh, sixth grade. That’s pretty exciting—thrilling, even. It’s a nice milestone as I kick off my revamped summer work-out regimen this afternoon.

My weigh-in this week: 163.0.

Thanks for the comment. I do need to find something else besides the treadmill. I’m thinking about a Cardio/pilates class but not sure how it will work out. I appreciate the advice. And trying to figure out about those darn cravings, they drive me crazy sometimes. And keep up the good work, you look awesome.

Congratulations! You look amazing, and I love that you were able to accomplish all this by eating naturally and working with your body, rather against it. You are a real inspiration!

Very nice. Sally you look great and should be very proud of those skinny girl clothes.

Congrats on your 100th post and being able to wear super skinny size 8 jeans! (Well to me anything under a size 20 is skinny, as I am one of the morbidly obese at over 300 lbs.)

I’ve just come across your blog and am impressed at your progress and how you’ve managed to achieve all this despite your many food intolerances — that must be a pain.

I don’t have any such excuses myself. I can eat anything and everything (and obviously have been doing so wayyyyyyy too much for the past few years, hence my current morbid obese state and the reason why I have just started a weight loss regime).

    Best wishes,

    You look bee-you-tee-ful!

BTW, I drank about a gallon of acai juice from the health food store before I ever heard of Mona Vie. I didn’t notice any difference in my health from it. The Mona Vie is juice with tons of freeze dried acai added. I think the high concentration did the trick for me.

I enjoyed reading this post. My daughter had lot’s of problems with foods during her teenagers years. We were moving a lot, she was loosing her friends all the time and she found comfort in food. Now she moved out of the house, she is at University and try to eat healthy. My approach was to tell her that I love her the way she are, she is a beautiful girl inside and out and she has great qualities. Now that she eats more healthy she lost 20 pounds since Christmas and I do encourage her in her journey.
